Embedded Math

Welcome to the Embedded Mathematics webpage at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center.

The Cape CTC offers an extra math credit for high school students who are in our programs during the day. This course is a pass/fail course, there is no letter grade. This means that it will neither help or hurt your GPA. It is simply a math credit towards graduation requirements.

You will meet with Mr. Smith and/or Mrs.Wiemers one day a week for approximately 40 minutes, while you are at the CTC and work on lessons to prepare for a credit test at the end of the year.

You will find a link to view the lessons which accompany this mathematics course.

Tech Math 1

Welcome to the Technical Mathematics webpage at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center.

Tech Math I is an offering through Mineral Area College for 3 hours of college credit. This course is a more comprehensive course that you will receive a letter grade for. It is recommended that a student have had or be currently enrolled in Algebra II at his/her school before enrolling in Tech Math. It is a math course that may be able to be applied towards as a dual-credit, depending on your high school.

For Technical Math, you are responsible for completing the assignments on your own time, Mr. Smith and Mrs.Wiemers are available for help should you need it, however, you will be responsible for printing the lessons off and turning them in. These are two tests, a mid-term and final, that comprise your letter grade for the course.

You will find a link below to view the lessons which accompany this mathematics course.
